Can you imagine seeing the world from the air, bird's eye view? There is a program that lets you do this from your computer. The program is called Keyhole and has made a firm that has digitized numerous satellite images. Curiously, this company was recently acquired by the world famous Google. I have my doubts whether the news has been collected widely in the media.
The program can download and try free for a period of seven days. English sailors warning: so far from the Iberian Peninsula only offers part of the northeast of Barcelona. As a U.S. company, is this territory that is more complete. But it's a start. And, after its acquisition by Google, it is clear that the photographic base can be expanded gradually. Connections to other Google services such as local search, are obvious. And very practical.
